Blackboard 9.1 Browser Checks
If you pass all checks listed below, you should be able to use the main features of Blackboard.

JavaScript
Check
Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Javascript for your browser. Also, if this check failed, most other checks will fail due to Javascript being disabled. Fix this issue and then recheck before proceeding.
Cookies
Check
Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Cookies for your browser.
Popup
Window
Check
Fail If this check fails, refer to the Browser Settings Guide for instructions on enabling Popup Windows for your browser. You may receive a notice at the top of this page if pop-ups are blocked, enabled pop-ups for the ualr.edu domain if so.
Port 80
Check
Fail This check works by trying to download an image through the specified port.  Port 80 is the standard web (http) port.
Java
Check
No Java Support.
If you see nothing to the left (or just a gray box) then Java functionality is not available.
PDF
Check
If you see "your browser can display PDF" in the box to the left, then your browser can display PDF in a subwindow.
Plugin Checks
Verify that the plugins required by your course are installed. Not all plugins are required in courses, check your courses' orientation or syllabus for details.
